Nanjing Pics

Fuzi Miao district at night. A tourist magnet.

View from the Drum Tower.

This is the remains of the Ming Imperial Palace. I was a little disappointed of the amount of ruins left in this old capital. This is probably because the capital was looted and bombarded many times.

View of Nanjing on top of the city wall from Ming Dynasty. In contrast to the Palace, the city wall is still mostly intact.

Most of the streets are lined with trees in Nanjing, a fairly green city.

Animated pedestrian traffic light showing the green man running. Instead of the usual blinking, the light indicates to the pedestrian to run.

Great Wall Pics

Rufina, Eunice and I took a hike on the Great Wall. From Jinshanling all the way to Simatai, passing 30 watchtowers.

This stretch of the Great Wall was built in the Ming dynasty.
